Lucy Bernardez is a young singer/songwriter from Southampton who has been writing and performing since the age of 15, releasing her debut EP ‘All Subsides’ in August 2017 and her latest single ‘Tomorrow’ in February 2020. Lucy has developed a unique style, ranging from folk to pop; her songs accompanied by a profound appreciation for lyricism, often alluding to the wonder of the natural world as a metaphor for human emotion. Lucy’s style has been influenced by artists such as Lucy Rose, Frank Turner, Will Varley and Julien Baker. Lucy has supported artists such as Xtra Mile Beans on Toast at The Railway Inn Winchester 2018 and Sean McGowan at The Joiners Southampton 2019. Lucy has had her original song ‘There is Nothing Worse’ aired on BBC Music Introducing Solent twice in October 2019 as well as her latest singe 'Tomorrow' in February 2020 and also performed a Live Lounge session on BBC Music Introducing Solent in September 2016.

Lucy is constantly writing new material and is currently recording new songs and planning new releases. Lucy has embarked on a project to release a demo of her new original material every single month on her SoundCloud page whilst her audience are waiting for official new releases. Lucy's original material is constantly evolving and changing, both musically and lyrically, as she passes through each stage of her life. In her writing, Lucy explores the fragility of the human soul and opens her heart and mind to her listeners.
